HDAOT Mission

To conduct Highland dancing competitions and championships in Taranaki
To encourage participation in Highland dancing both nationally and internationally
To apply for funds from community grants and other sports and culture funding agencies.

Become a HDAOT member
By joining HDAOT you are not only helping your child, but the entire Highland dancing community of Taranaki. By increasing the membership of the association, this in turn, opens up more funding opportunities to us.
These funds are used to run three to four dancing competitions and championships annually, and the New Zealand Championships bi-annually, You may be able to assist us in running these days from time to time.
Each HDAOT member has been allocated a membership number. At each of our competitions, a random draw will be conducted, with the lucky recipient receiving either one private tuition, or contribution towards your child's following term fees from a Taranaki Highland dancing teacher of your choice.
